Greiner Bio-One USA, Organisational Changes
Greiner Bio-One International AG (Kremsmuenster, Austria) announced today the appointments of Rainer Perneker as President and Carol D'Anca as Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing at its North Americ affiliate, Greiner Bio-One, Inc. in Monroe, North Carolina.Rainer Perneker joined Greiner Bio-One AG in 1994 and in 2000 was assigned responsibility to bring on line the company's North American manufacturing operation. Rainer will report to Mr. Franz Konrad, CEO of Greiner Bio-One International AG.
Carol D'Anca joined Greiner Bio-One, Inc., in 2000 as Director of Health Systems and most recently was the Vice President of Sales, Distribution and Health Systems for the company's Preanalytic business. Prior to joining Greiner Bio-One she held Sales and Marketing management positions with Cardinal Health. Carol replaces Doug Harris, who departed the company on May 27, 2008, and will report to Rainer Perneker.
The reorganisation consolidates Sales/Marketing and the Operations under one President to enhance communication for faster strategy execution needed to meet the company's current rate of growth.
Greiner Bio-One designs and manufactures consumable products for clinical and reseach laboratories. Including its North American operation, Greiner Bio-One International has manufacturing sites in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Brazil and Thailand supported with distribution of the products in over 100 countries.
